Nancy Chantraine
Nancy Chantraine - August 29th 1947 to February 11th 2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Chantraine on February 11th 2026, while vacationing in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. She was 78.
Beloved wife of Pierre Chantraine for 58 years. Cherished mother of Jamie and Kirk (Katie) of Vancouver. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Sara. Survived by brothers John and Andrew (Karen). Born in 1947 in Brockville, ON, Nancy studied English, French, education and art history at Queen's and went on to work as a technician in hospital. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and community builder. Nancy spent many years as a docent at the Agnes Etherington Art Gallery in Kingston. She was an avid windsurfer, nature lover, and friend to all animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the SPCA in her memory.
